Raising Life-long Learners

English Horizons is more than a language centre. We believe in helping our students develop the critical thinking skills that they need to excel in their studies across all subjects.

Our teachers work with students from kindergarten level to IGCSE, tailoring lessons to their individual needs and interests. With our hands-on approach, students will learn the core components of language while also developing life skills like reasoning and judgment. In a world where children are bombarded by information, we strive to help them develop the ability to separate fact from fiction, form valid opinions, and express them confidently.

Critical Language Skills

Language is not only about putting words together. We strive for a holistic language learning environment while imparting life-long learning skills. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that students leave the classroom to apply their knowledge in all areas of life.

Professionally Developed Syllabus

Our syllabus was developed by accomplished teachers who have taught for many years in schools in Singapore, which covers assessment objectives of international curriculums.

Individualised Teaching Approach

Everyone is a unique individual, and we want to celebrate and encourage that. Our programs are crafted with multiple intelligence and various learning styles in mind. To ensure each student gets the attention that they need, we keep our classes small.

Discipline, hard work, and intelligence does not have to be solely cultivated in a rigid and exam-based atmosphere. We want to help students switch comfortably between creative and commercial, and technical or academic writing and comprehension.

It is our desire to see the future generation have the curiosity to inquire, critical skills to analyse, a sound basis for judgement, the flexibility to adapt, and a passion for life-long learning that far exceeds the A* in a report card.

We want to open up the world to our students.
